Kappiri Thuruth Review

Kappiri Thuruth Review

We the Malayalam film audience witnessed a lot of Love Movies on screen, followed by that same old clashes and Melodrama and even now also there are movie like type this is releasing and the question rest with Kappiri Thuruthu is that will this one also a movie followed by the same old clichés? Kappiri Thuruthu directed by Saheer Ali is also a movie in the same Love Movie genre, but surely as an audience I can say that Kappiri Thuruthu had some elements of refreshment and not drag you into the Swamp of the cliched love stories. Now let’s have a look to cinema… Ennu Ninte Moideen is an recent movie that comes in the genre of an Love Subject and it had the base of an true event and that makes the movie feel to audience and here in Kappiri Thuruthu, I can say that it is a best one from this genre after Ennu Ninte Moideen, Kappiri Thuruthu had its elements of rejuvenate an audient with its flesh and at the same time there keeps a less content of earlier said cliches and make you feel Kappiri Thuruthu as a simple feel good movie rather than a love story.

Kappiri Thuruthu is based up on vintage Kochi & Kochi’s famous singer “Mehboob”. The film also portrays unknown faces of Kochi. Mehboob was an Indian musician and playback singer. He was one of the most successful playback singers in the Malayalam film industry during the 1950s and early 1960s, with a good number of hit songs in his kitty. D4 dance fame Adil Ibrahim and Perly Maneey are doing the main leads in Kappiri Thuruthu. Kappiri Thuruthu is produced by Ahammed palaparambil inder his production house 20 20 Movie International. Kappiri Thuruthu is being Adil Ibrahim’s first debut as an hero and on screen he impressed me as much as me expected, that’s the truth because if you’re a one like me who thinks that while seeing his anchoring feels that he is such a one who is incorrigible in his performance, but as an actor there comes an controlled performance from him and I don’t feel any kitsch in his attire on that character. Pearly Maaney, her performance in films like Pretham is tolerable and here also a middling discharge from her. Rest of the cast includes Siddique, SP Sreekumar, Indrans, Lal, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Kanaran Hareesh, Sunil Sukhada, Rajesh Sharma. Among this as always Siddique performance is one which specially mentioned and her also he excels in hi look and mannerisms of that character. He is being a promising factor in a film and never makes a single flaw with his performance. Rest of the cast was sincere to their roles and done well. Making wise, Saheer Ali made his venture Kappiri Thuruthu as a decent one and he seems keeps much an updated director and by that he is able to avoid almost all clichés in this genre and made this as a better watch and make the audience feel good. Screenplay is also done by him and he seems adroit in that section and he keeps all the scenes in order without any overlapping. In total no more error from this section.

Technically, Cinematography is handled by Praveen Chakrapani, he had done it with almost nearer to perfection. He made the view of director by keeping an unique signature of an Cinematographer and the visuals had a classy touch. Editing is done by Sai Suresh and fine cuts from him. Music is by Rafeek Yousuf and Madhu Paul and the tracks were in an Okay level. BGM is handled by Madhu paul alone and here he done it with perfection. Overall, Kappiri Thuruthu is a nice and a feel good one from Saheer Ali and crew. The film had its enough flesh in it to make you a quality watch and make you feel attached to the movie. Watch the movie on the theaters nearby. Keep in mind you’re going to watch a Simple and Humble movie, you will surely love this…
