Jomonte Suviseshangal Review:
What are you expecting from the director Sathyan Anthikkadu? , definitely the answer is that a simple lighthearted movie. The question remains here are that the director is able to bring his beauty of his easiness in story telling like his earlier movies and that’s easiness is an important factor in his movies. Jomonte Suvisheshangal is also a warm and cheerful endeavor from the veteran Sathyan Anthikkadu and the lead actor’s effortless performance enhances the beauty of the film. Now it’s time for a detailed view of film, let’s have a look to cinema…
Vincent (Mukesh) is a businessman from Thrissur who made his achievements by putting lot of efforts and Jomon (Dulquer Salman) is the son of Vincent. Muthumani and Vinu Mohan are said to be playing Jomon’s older sister and brother. The story revolves around this family and it also concentrates on the father-son relationship. Anupama Parameswaran as Catherine and Aiswarya Rajesh as Vaidehi are the heroines. Innocent, Jacob Gregory, Irshad, Manobala, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Vinod Kedamangalam, Rasna, and Indu Thamby play significant roles.
As I said earlier, the main attraction of Jomonte Suvisheshngal is that the easiness making by Sathyan Anthikkadu and the actors especially Mukesh and Dulquer Salman’s magnificient perfoemances.Jomonte Suvisheshngal is the movie which is capable of bringing the emotion of actors to audience through his feel good nature and definitely yet another buoyant film from Sathyan Anthikkadu. If you’re waiting for Sathyan Anthikkadu to see in his older form never miss Jomonte Suvisheshnagal on theatres. On Screen, Dulquer Salman is in his mature performance and at the same time he puts that energy needed for young Jomon. He is being improving and understanding a lot from his previous performances and thereby he can able to deliver an evolved presentation of characters and this is visible in him from Charlie onwards. Mukesh as Vincent, it is being a wonderful and strong character from him after a long time and definitely he is also being a pivotal reason for watching Jomonte Suvisheshangal. Mukesh- Dulquer Salman combo is the main attraction and it’s really engaging, both of them put their maximum to Jomonte Suvishengal.
Anupama Parameswaran as Catherine was okay in her role, no more words needed for her. Aishwarya Rajesh as Vaidehi was yet another promising performance from Jomonte Suvisheshangal and she made that character more realistically by the mannerisms and dialogue delivery. After Swarna Kaduva Innocent is almost got a long run time in Jomonte Suvishseshangal and as usual he made his part effectively. Muthumani, Vinu Mohan, Jacob Gregory, Irshad, Manobala, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Vinod Kedamangalam, Rasna, and Indu Thamby are in rest of roles and they done it with almost perfection and good in their roles.
Making wise, Sathyan Anthikkadu always follows his same pattern and in that he excels and that was the best thing about Sathyan Anthikkaddu. As always he concentrated fro avoid melodramas and putting simple and light hearted moments throughout the narration, here also it reflects. Coming to scripting Iqbal Kuttippuram had also the same view of Sathyan Anthikkadu and the coalition of these two are the vivacious factor in making of Jomonte Suvisheshangal and they are also able to made exact casting.
Technically, Jomonte Suvishangal got rich in this section, mainly Veteran S Kumar’s Cinematograhy. S Kumar is a Cinematograher who always puts his perspective in visuals along with the director’s view, in Jomote Suvisheshangal also he made a sincere approach and frames are visually opulent. Vidhyasagar Music is the next factor, the songs are made me hear repeatedly and the Song ‘Neelakasham’ is become my favorite. Editing was also good.
Overall, Jomonte Suvisheshangal is an yet another marvelous film from Sathyan Anthikkadu and it has the almost all elements of a Sathyan Anthikkadu movie packed with Fun, Emotion, Romance, Family moments…You should definitely watch Jomont Suvishseshngal if you’re voracious to see a simple feel good movie from Sathyan Anthikkad and crew.
