Mammootty as Pala achayan:Praise The Lord On March



ptl3Megastar Mammootty’s Kottayam Kunjachan avatar is still a hit among movie lovers, with its dialogues and scenes often screened on television. In the upcoming film Praise The Lord by Shibu Gangadharan, he will be seen as a native of the rubber paradise of Kerala, Pala. Mammootty, who himself hails from Vaikkom near Pala, might not find mastering the often comically repeated dialect of the place. The shooting of the film is currently compeleted . While Reenu Mathews is his pair, actors Ahmed Sidhique and Akanksha Puri will don other prominent characters.And actor Mukesh is also playing another important character in this movie.

Praise the Lord is a pure adaptation of Zacharia’s novel ‘Praise The Lord’, which also has the same title. Joy (Mammootty) is an immensely rich Pala based farmer. He is hardly aware of the life beyond his small town in Pala as he didn’t get much chance to explore the outside world. But a boy and girl, who are in love, change Joy’s outlook on life. This forms the plot of the story.Milan Jaleel is producing the film under the banner of Galaxy Films.The director Shibu Gangadhara plans to release this movie on March 2014. It is one of the main release of Mammootty in the year 2014.
